Zumba is a spicy, hot, hip swivelling workout where African, Caribbean and Latin dance moves are combined with aerobics/fitness. It is a fun and easy to do workout where one does not need to be a dancer to Zumba.
The dance routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. Zumba utilises the principles of fitness interval training and resistance training to maximise caloric output, fat burning and total body toning. You can burn up to 1000 calories in a Zumba class!
